2017 BMW Z5 Roadster First Spy Shots

The first spy shots of BMW’s Z4 successor, the Z5 have been captured!

While BMW has yet to confirm any solid details regarding the Z5, it is highly suggested that the Z5 will be the first car to come out of the BMW and Toyota joint partnership. This partnership will also produce the next-generation Scion FR-S.

As we can see from the spy shots, the new Z5 will come equipped with a soft top as opposed to Toyota’s version, which will come with a hard top. Although that is yet to be confirmed via spy shots or official sources.

Engine options, while not confirmed, will likely range from a 190 hp engine on the low end to a 425 hp unit in the Z5 M. An additiona hybrid engine will likely be made available tht produces in the range of 204 hp.

The new BMW Z5 will likely be unveiled next yea with sales beginning in the months following. We will keep you updated as more information becomes available. In the meantime, check out the gallery of spy shots above!
