The very first details and images of the high-performance Zenos E10 R have just been released. Only one running prototype has been produced thus far but the E10 R will reach the production line and top out Zenos’ range of models.

The headline for the Zenos E10 R is its 2.3-litre four-cylinder EcoBoost engine borrowed from the brand new Ford Focus RS. However, that engine isn’t identical to the one of the Focus RS as in the Zenos, it is running a bespoke ECU. All told, it has been tuned to deliver 345 hp at 6000 rpm and 350 lb-ft of torque at 4000 rpm. Coupled to the engine is a six-speed manual transmission sending power through the rear wheels and when joined with an overall weight of just 700 kg, the E10 R will reach 96 km/h in just 3 seconds and a 250 km/h top speed.

Beyond the new engine, the E10 R can be differentiated from the lesser E10 models thanks to carbon fibre seats, a multifunction TFT screen and 4-point racing harnesses with both a quick release steering wheel and 6-point race harnesses available as options.

A special variant of the E10 R dubbed the Drive Edition will also be made available. It will include the aforementioned 6-point harnesses as standard as well as carbon and leather throughout the interior, one-way adjustable Bilstein dampers, a new master brake cylinder, custom paintwork and eye-catching decals.
