While we only just had a chance to see the 2016 Fiat 124 Spider at the Los Angeles Auto Show 2015, X-Tomi Design has already released a rendering of a potential high-performance Abarth variant.

In creating the car, X-Tomi has set about making it look significantly more aggressive with a selection of bespoke body panels and a new set of wheels. Some of the key modifications include a custom bonnet including prominent body creases. Other changes include a unique grille, Abarth badging, gunmetal grey wheels and black Abarth stripes along the sides.

If Fiat were to commission an Abarth version of the 124 Spider, it wouldn’t simply retain the 1.4-litre turbo engine sourced from the Fiat 500 Abarth for the car. Instead, it would likely tune that engine to nearer the 200 hp mark.
