In December, the Palazzo Versace hotel in Dubai is set to open its doors to wealthy customers. The hotel was originally pencilled in for a completion date in 2008 but numerous delays have pushed that back to late 2015.
Located in Dubai’s Culture Village district and just 10 minute’s drive from The Dubai Mall and airport, the project has been worked on for the past ten years. It will also include 169 private residences alongside the hotel itself. Of those residences, just 20 remain to be sold.
The Palazzo Versace is unlike any other hotel in Dubai as it combines classic Italian styling cues and touches of local Arabian architecture. One of the hotel’s standouts is that it offers eight different restaurants including one dedicated to seafood, dubbed Vanitas.
Across the interior, Palazzo Versace includes marble floors and floorboards as well as intricately-designed rugs and carpets. Certainly the key outside attraction is the large swimming pool flanked by dozens of palm trees.
