Video: 2000hp Lamborghini Huracan Sets New 1/2 Mile World Record at 238mph!

A twin-turbocharged Lamborghini Huracan in the U.S has just a set ½ mile world record after sprinting to an incredible 238.6 mph.

This Verde Mantis Huracan takes the crown from an Underground Racing Lamborghini Gallardo by 4 mph and makes this Huracan essentially the craziest street car anywhere in the world. It has a complete twin turbo setup from Underground Racing as well as a rebuilt 5.2-litre V10 engine and pumps out in excess of 2000 hp.

Interestingly, this Huracan has foregone the model’s standard dual-clutch seven-speed transmission in favour of a race-spec sequential transmission to handle the incredible power this Italian beast is pumping out. It is hoped however that when a dual-clutch gearbox is developed for the Huracan which can handle over 2000 hp, this Huracan will become even faster.
