Just after its online release and before its public debut at the Los Angeles Auto Show 2015, Mercedes-Benz has announced pricing details for the brand new 2016 GLS in the United Kingdom.

Starting off the range is the Mercedes-Benz GLE350d AMG Line priced at 69,100 pounds. The United Kingdom then receives the 350d Designo variant priced from 78,095 pounds while the GLS63 AMG rounds off the UK model range for 102,330 pounds.

Some of the key standard features of the 350d AMG Line model include an 8-inch infotainment screen and system, LED adaptive headlights, a panoramic electric sunroof, front memory seats, Harmon Kardon surround sound system and the German marque’s advanced Airmatic air suspension system. Additionally there are heated seats, keyless go and Blind Spot Assist and Lane Keeping Assist.

The Designo version adds heated and cooled front seats, a four-zone climate control system, new Nappa leather, the Active Curve System for the suspension and a heated steering wheel.

Both the aforementioned GLS350d models utilise a 3.0-litre turbodiesel V6 engine delivering 258 hp and 458 lb-ft of torque. By comparison, the GLS63 AMG has a twin-turbo 5.5-litre V8 with 585 hp and 561 lb-ft.
