Ahead of its world debut at the Los Angeles Auto Show 2015, a number of official images of the facelifted 2017 Mercedes-Benz SL have been released by the German firm.
As of yet, no details have been provided about the new SL range but the images do reveal some eye-catching design changes across all the facelifted SL variants. Generally speaking, the new SL adopts more curvaceous and sleeker headlights than currently used as well as a reshaped roofline baring some similarities to the AMG GT.
At the rear, the triangular taillights of the current car have been tweaked but aren’t all that different than the outgoing model. Other updated design cues include new front and rear bumpers and reshaped wing mirrors.
Of most interest to use is the new SL63 AMG model. Pictured in white, its front end includes a blacked out grille, reshaped air intakes, a blacked-out splitter and an interesting black air intake surrounds which stretch across the bumper.
