Mitsubishi is currently auctioning off the very first in the limited run of Lancer Evolution X Final Edition models on eBay. Limited to just 1600 units for the U.S, this first example will help raise money for the National Multiple Sclerosis Society.
The auction for the car will conclude on November 21st at the 29th annual MS Dinner Auction held in Coronado, California.
The Lancer Evolution X Final Edition is the most powerful mass-produced Evolution variant ever with its turbocharged 2.0-litre four-cylinder engine pumping out 303 hp. That powertrain is then mated to a five-speed manual transmission with braking performed by two-piece Brembo brake discs and calipers at the front and rear. Other key components of the Final Edition include the Bilstein shock absorbers and Eibach springs.
Discussing the auction, president of the National MS Society Pacific South Coast Chapter, Richard Israel said “We are thrilled and grateful Mitsubishi Motors has partnered with us as the title sponsor for this year’s annual MS Dinner Auction. With the support of Mitsubishi Motors we are able to fund cutting-edge research, drive change through advocacy, facilitate professional education, collaborate with MS organizations around the world, and provide programs and services designed to help people with MS and their families move their lives forward.”
