ABT Sportsline Reveals Updated Audi SQ5

Famed Audi tuner ABT Sportsline has just unveiled its latest tuning package for the Audi SQ5. Despite having worked on the SQ5 back in 2013, ABT has updated their performance modifications to make the latest SQ5 all the more impressive.

Typically, the range-topping twin-turbo 3.0-litre TDI V6 engine found in the SQ5 TDI Plus pumps out 340 hp and 517 lb-ft of torque. Despite ABT’s model being based around the entry-level SQ5, it pumps out more than even the TDI Plus, with a total of 365 hp and 524 lb-ft beneath the skin.

ABT has yet to announce how the extra horsepower and torque has improved the model’s acceleration but considering the SQ5 TDI Plus only needs 5.1 seconds to hit 100 km/h, we’d expect the new ABT SQ5 to reach the same mark in the high 4-second region.

Beyond the engine changes, the ABT Audi SQ5 includes a set wheels available in 20”, 21” and 22 inch sizes. Additionally, there is a bolder front fascia with enlarged air intakes as well as flared wheel arches and a subtle rear wing. An adjustable suspension setup is also offered as are wheel spacers and new floor mats.
