Next year, Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts is set to open its third South American hotel with the unveiling of Four Seasons Hotel Bogota in Colombia.

The hotel is located in the heart of the city’s shopping district and joins the comapny’s other properties in Argentina and Uruguay on the continent. The Four Seasons Hotel Bogota won’t be situated within a brand new building and instead be found within the hotel formerly known as Hotel Charleston Bogota. The hotel is receiving extensive renovations alongside the rebranding.

Discussing the hotel, president and chief executive officer of Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts, Allen Smith said “As travel to and within South America for both business and leisure continues to increase among luxury travellers from around the world, we’ve been looking for the right opportunity to enter the Bogota market.

“This represents a significant step in continuing to grow our footprint in South America and we’re thrilled to be working with The Gilinski Group on the conversion of these two properties and to introduce a truly extraordinary luxury experience in Bogota.”

As part of the renovations, Four Seasons Hotel Bogota will have its rooms and suites comprehensively altered. One of the key elements of the hotel will be the Japanese concept restaurant featuring an authentic Japanese menu.
