Supercar Driver recently managed to achieve what no automotive magazines or TV shows have done; arrange a track test between the McLaren P1, Ferrari LaFerrari and Porsche 918 Spyder. Thanks to English car collector Paul Bailey, who owns all three of the hybrid hypercars, they were recently pitted against each other at the Silverstone Circuit.

While the full video or results haven’t been released, the following teaser video does provide us with a glimpse of what to expect. It’s obvious that the three are very closely matched around the circuit and we’re very intrigued to find out the results. Importantly, the tests were carried out privately without the intervention of the automakers themselves meaning we should get a completely accurate conclusion about which of the three is fastest around a circuit like Silverstone.
