On August 1st, Six Senses entered the Chinese market with the opening of the Qing Cheng Mountain resort.

The new Six Senses resort is located at the gateway to the country’s Qing Cheng mountains and has been specifically designed to respect Dujiangyan, a local UNESCO World Heritage & Natural Culutural site. The mountain resort is also 78 km from the Chengdu Shuangliu International Airport.

Six Senses Wing Cheng Mountain features 113 suites across a number of different villas. These include duplex villas with balconies and verandas as well as courtyard, garden and pool villas. The villas vary from two bedrooms through to four bedrooms and come complete with either a swimming pool or a whirlpool, natural wood throughout the interiors as well as indoor courtyards. Complimentary WiFi is also offered.

There are three different restaurants at the resort. Farm2Fork is an informal restaurant focusing on Western and regional dishes. Alternatively, 28Zodiac serves Sichuan specialties and Sala Thai, celebrates the cuisine of Thailand. Another key attraction of the resort is the Moon Bar, Chinese Tea Lounge and Farm2Straw Smoothie Bar.

The Six Senses Spa at the resort incorporates 10 treatment rooms and a number of different wellness programs and treatments. The resort also offers a Tesla Model S for airport transfers.
