The owner of a brand new 2015 Ford Mustang GT recently learnt first-hand that drag racing can be more difficult than it appears.
This particular Mustang GT features a number of modifications to make it exceptionally potent down the drag strip. Most notably, it features a large supercharger kit. In a drag race at Thunder Valley Raceway Park in the U.S. however, the car sustained comprehensive damage while racing a 1990’s Chevrolet Camaro.
As the video shows, the American muscle car speared to the left just after the race kicked off. Unable to correct the slide, the car speared into the concrete crash barrier with the impact forceful enough to deploy the airbags.
Unsurprisingly for such a crash, comprehensive damage has been caused to the Mustang and it’ll inevitably be a costly repair!
Even that might not be on the Carfax.
Definitely was too much HP for the driver to handle… poor Mustang though…
