In standard form, the BMW 1M is more than worthy of being adorned with the German marque’s fabled ‘M’ badge. Not satisfied with the standard car, the crew at RevoZport have created the M1 ‘Raze’.

With Matt Powers behind the wheel, the car lapped Willow Springs in an impressive 1:31.3 making it faster than the new Mercedes-AMG C63 S, Lamborghini Gallardo Superleggera and a host of Porsches including the iconic 997-generation GT2.

As you’d expect from a 1M so fast, the vehicle has undergone a plethora of modifications. For starters, the twin-turbo six-cylinder typically found in the 1M has been replaced with the S65 V8 engine alongside a titanium exhaust system, cold air intake, ECU chips, BOV charge pipes, new downpipes as well as a plug and play harness.

Beyond the engine modifications, the RevoZport 1M Raze features a number of visual and aerodynamic upgrades as well as a cooling duck kit for the brakes. Some of the most prominent aero elements include the bold front splitter, bootlid lip spoiler, the massive adjustable GT rear wing and the 1M Raze Rear Diffuser.

Other changes include a carbon fibre roof, lightweight bootlid and carbon fibre bonnet.
