Mandarian Oriental has just celebrated the opening of its new hotel in the heart of Milan.

Mandarian Oriental Milan is nestled within four redeveloped 18th century buildings and includes 104 rooms and suites aimed at providing the Italian city’s most stylish accommodation. It is ideally located on the central Via Andegari and is therefore very close to Via Manzoni and Montenapoleone.

The luxurious hotel includes a fine dining restaurant dubbed Seta. It is run by executive chef Antonio Guida who’s previously worked at the two Michelin starred restaurant of II Pellicano in Tuscany. Seta will offer food with French, Asian and Tuscan influences. Elsewhere within Mandarian Oriental Milan is a bar which includes courtyard seating and a bistro-style menu.

Another key element of the new hotel is The Spa at Mandarian Oriental Milan. It incorporates six treatment rooms as well as a dedicated Thai massage room and two couple’s suites. It also includes a manicure and pedicure studio, beauty studio, heated indoor swimming pool, fitness centre and a world-class hair salon.

Discussing the hotel, general manager Luca Finardi said “We are delighted to introduce Mandarin Oriental’s renowned hospitality to Italy, and are confident that Mandarin Oriental, Milan will become a new luxury landmark for guests seeking the finest address in the city.”
