Henrik Fisker Planning New Company

Henrik Fisker has revealed his interest in creating a new company targeted towards Millennials (Generation Y).

Fisker of course rose to automotive fame when he founded plug-in automaker Fisker Automotive. Founded around the same time as Tesla Motors, Fisker eventually went bankrupt and a Chinese company is currently attempting to resurrect Fisker.

While recently speaking with USA Today at the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance, Fisker said “I’m looking into starting a new company. There’s a whole new group of young people ready for the next thing.”

One of the key contributors for the downfall of Fisker Automotive was the bankruptcy of its battery supplier. Consequently, production was ended in 2012. In more recent times, Henrik Fisker has made a comeback into the industry with the help of Galpin Auto Sports with the launch of the Ford Mustang based Fisker Rocket and Fisker Rocket Speedster Concept.

It remains to be seen just what company Fisker is planning to launch but he did reveal his interest in new kinds of transportation.
