Pricing details for the 2016 Jaguar XF have just been released in the car’s home country of the United Kingdom.
The XF range starts at 32,300 pounds with the XF 2.0d Prestige. As the name implies, it is powered by a 2.0-litre four-cylinder diesel engine delivering 163 hp. Alongside the XF 2.0d R-Sport and XF 2.0d Portfolio, it emits just 104 g/km of CO2 emissions.
This engine is also available in 180 hp specification in a total of six different variants with differing trim and transmission configurations. The cheapest 180 hp diesel Jaguar XF is priced from 32,800 pounds while the 180 hp range is topped out by the XF 2.0d Portfolio Auto at 39,050 euros. At the top of the range is the XF 3.0-litre supercharged V6 engine which costs a minimum of 49,945 euros. Interestingly, the most expensive diesel engine with 300 hp is priced identically at 49,945.
Beyond the engines, the steering of the Jaguar XF is electric power assisted and includes passive damper technology to improve its economy and ride comfort. The Jaguar Configurable Dynamics system is also available to individually tailor the settings of the dampers, steering, engine and eight-speed automatic transmission. The new XF is also available with All-Surface Progress Control, Jaguar’s new system for safer low-speed driving in adverse conditions. It automatically manages the brakes and the throttle to deliver the best possible traction.
