Next-Generation Mercedes-AMG E63 Rendered

Next-gen Mercedes-AMG E63 rendered

It is no secret that Mercedes-Benz is currently in the midst of developing the next-generation E-Class. As a matter of fact, the automaker has openly displayed the car in prototype guise to help preview its plethora of advanced technologies and features. Alongside the standard models, an E63 AMG will also be offered in the coming years and RM Design has dreamt up the following rendering to showcase how the car could look.

While the car is unlikely to be revealed for quite a few years, it will inevitably be rebadged the Mercedes-AMG E63 in line with the marque’s current nomenclature.

Powertrain wise, it is likely that the new E63 will utilising AMG’s new 4.0-litre twin-turbocharged V8 engine. Currently, that engine pumps out 503 hp in its most potent tune but considering the next-gen BMW M5 will produce 600 hp, Mercedes-AMG will have to modify the engine to ensure it is on par with its closest rival. As a result, new turbochargers will be fitted considering AMG has previously confirmed the engine is currently operating at its limit.
