The latest McLaren P1 courtesy of the British marque’s Special Operations department has just been revealed. This particular P1 is especially noteworthy for its exterior finish.
It is the very first P1 produced to feature clear-coated carbon fibre sides with the first half of the rear wheel arches finished in carbon rather than just the central door element of most other P1s. Consequently, it seems apparent that this P1 features the most amount of carbon fibre of every P1 until the extremely limited carbon fibre bodied examples roll out of the McLaren Technology Centre in Woking.
Beyond the carbon fibre sides, this P1 also features a stunning shade of Volcano Orange and includes a set of gunmetal grey wheels as well as dark silver brake calipers. Beyond the sides, it also features carbon fibre wing mirrors, a carbon front splitter with a white McLaren sticker as well as a carbon front bumper and cooling ducts.
