What’s quicker, the Lamborghini Aventador or the Lamborghini Huracan? At the time of the Huracan’s launch in late 2013, you probably would have picked the Aventador without a second guess.

In the past 18 months however, the Huracan has made a name for itself as not only being significantly brisker than its predecessor, the Gallardo, but also quicker than some much more expensive and powerful supercars including the Aventador.
As the following video shows, the Huracan is able to sprint off the line better than the Aventador thanks to its improved traction and the seven-speed dual-clutch transmission. While the Aventador ultimately takes the win at both the quarter mile and 1 km marks, it doesn’t do so easily and really has to deploy all of its 690 hp!
