Another special edition of the popular Toyota GT86 (Scion FR-S for American readers) has just been introduced. This particular version however is available exclusively in the sports car’s home country of Japan.
Dubbed the Toyota GT86 Yellow Limited, the car is noteworthy for its Sunrise Yellow paint scheme. Additionally, the exterior of the car features slightly smoked headlights and taillights as well as a set of optional 17-inch wheels combining silver and gloss black elements.
For Japanese customers looking for even more flair, the Yellow Limited Aero Package is offered. It includes a towering rear wing, new side skirts, a flat underbody as well as a more aggressive front bumper and splitter package. Additionally, the aero package includes 18-inch forged aluminium wheels from BBS and wrapped in Bridgestone Potenza S001 tyres measuring 215/40 at the front and 225/40 at the rear. Elsewhere, sports brake pads are provided as are new shocks.
Unsurprisingly, the standard naturally-aspirated 2.0-litre four-cylinder engine remains unchanged. Consequently, it still delivers 197 hp to the rear wheels courtesy of a six-speed manual or six-speed automatic transmission.
