Facelifted Mercedes-Benz SL spy shots front

The facelifted Mercedes-Benz SL has been spied in the midst of testing once again. As with previously spotted test mules, this one features minimal camouflage hinting at the relatively subtle visual tweaks the facelifted SL will receive.

At the front of this tester is white camouflage covering the headlights, bonnet, grille and front bumper/splitter. It is likely that all of these elements will receive modifications for the facelifted SL range. Headlights closely resembling those of the Mercedes-Benz S-Class Coupe can be expected. Additionally, the Multibeam LED technology is tipped to be used.

At the rear, recent facelifted Mercedes-Benz SL spy shots have revealed further modifications. For starters, thinner taillights are speculated to be on the cards alongside redesigned exhaust tips and a new bumper. Inside, a number of visual modifications are expected with the COMAND multimedia system the most likely element to be tweaked.

Beyond the visual distinctions, there’s a possibility that the recently launched Mercedes-Benz AMG Sport lineup will extend beyond the C-Class and GLE Coupe into the SL.
