Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat goes drifting

When you get handed the keys to a car as potent and tail happy as the Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat, it would surely be sacrilege not to test out the American muscle car’s powersliding ability right?

Thankfully, Top Gear Magazine decided to do just that during a recent road test of the Challenger SRT Hellcat in the U.S. After finding some suitably deserted and twisty roads, the V8 powered beast did what it does best; perform some truly epic drifts to even make Vaughn Gitten Jr take notice with his dedicated Ford Mustang drifter.

Of course, it is little surprise why the Challenger SRT Hellcat is so prone to oversteer. Its 6.2-litre supercharged V8 engine delivers a frankly ridiculous 707 hp making it the most powerful series production muscle car in the world.
