BMW X1 M rendered

Although it remains unconfirmed, it is reported that BMW is working on M-powered variants of both the X3 and X4 to join the existing X5 M and X6 M. On the back of the latest BMW X1 launching, X-Tomi Design has decided to imagine it in M specification as well.

In typical M fashion, the X1 M presented features a plethora of visual and aerodynamic tweaks over the standard car. The front for example includes a significantly bolder fascia and bumper as well as enlarged air intakes.

Elsewhere, subtly flared front and rear wheel arches have been installed while extended side skirts are also featured. Alongside beefed up brakes, special sports wheels and a small M badge on the front kidney grille, the BMW X1 looks quite promising!

While it is unlikely that BMW will confirm or deny if an X1 M is in the works anytime soon, it wouldn’t be overly surprising if it was created. After all, it could act as a direct rival to the popular Mercedes-Benz GLA45 AMG.
