McLaren 675LT Sold out

Introduced at the Geneva Motor Show 2015 less than two months ago, McLaren told GTspirit its current flagship of the Super Series has been sold out. Not a bad result for the Woking based sportscar manufacturer that will only build 500 pieces of the 675LT.

Expected to make its UK debut in June at Wilton Classics and Supercar Show 2015, the McLaren 675LT has sold out faster than the P1 model which sits atop the Ultimate Series. Noteworthy, most of the McLaren 675LT units will go to existing McLaren owners. Compared to the 650S which it’s based upon, the 675LT is more track focused and weighs 100 kg less. Adding the optional Club Sport package transforms it to a proper track day car with a titanium roll hoop and four-point harness.

The McLaren 675LT uses the same 3.8 liter V8 unit found on current McLaren models, however McLaren points out that most of the components are entirely new. It features a new set of twin-turbos, camshafts and connecting rods resulting to a total power output of 666bhp- 25hp more than the 650S. This and more makes it the ultimate model in the Super Series. You can discover more about it here from our official post.
