Pure McLaren’s latest track day took place on the 23rd and 24th of April 2015 at the legendary Belgian racetrack, Spa-Francorchamps. The Pure McLaren Driving Experience is a track based driving programme which allows McLaren owners and registered guests to explore their car’s capabilities at exclusive closed track days on some of the world’s most iconic race tracks.
During their latest track event, McLaren gave owners a unique opportunity to experience their McLaren on-track with fellow like-minded enthusiasts at a McLaren supported track event. The two-day event was split into various sessions. Professional McLaren GT instructors were on site all day and additional driving tuition was available during the various sessions.
Six private McLaren P1s took part as well as a huge variety of McLaren 650S Coupes and Spiders. These were supplemented by McLaren 12C Spiders and Coupes.
The photos you see in this article were shot by our photographer Fabian Räker and show the variety of cars in attendance. As you can see on the pictures, the weather was absolutely perfect so all participants could easily enjoy the perfectly organized track days.
Fortunately McLaren gave us the chance of a ride on a passenger seat of both the McLaren 650S and the McLaren 650S Sprint. The absolute highlight of the day was a huge surprise from McLaren. After the first four hours on track, three prototypes appeared in the paddock: two McLaren 675LTs and a McLaren P1 GTR. Unfortunately we are not allowed to share our shots of the McLaren P1 GTR with you.
All in all it was an absolutely perfect day thanks to the best weather conditions you can imagine and the some of the most insane cars which are available on the market.
