Geneva 2015: nanoFlowcell Quantino Electric Sportscar

nanoFlowcell are building quite a range of concept and pre-production models at the Geneva Motor Show 2015. The nanoFlewcell Quantino Electric Sportscar previews a small sports car to join the sedan styled concept cars they have previously released. We took a look at the car on the nanoFlowcell stand at Geneva.

The concept is billed as an affordable application of the nanoFlowcell technology, rather than the Quant E and Quant F models which have focused on performance moreso than day to day usability. The design features 22 inch wheels and a 2+2-seater interior layout.

The nanoFlewcell Quantino Electric Sportscar uses advanced technology drive system which utilises positively and negatively charged ionic liquid stored in two 175-litres. In total, the car produces about 136 hp. This is enough for a top speed of over 200 km/h in all-electric mode. Range is a staggering 1,000 kilometres, without any harmful emissions.

The nanoFlewcell Quantino Electric Sportscar is expected to gain authorisation for road tests later this year, although there is still no word on when the technology will become commercially available.
