Bernie Ecclestone is known to be a no nonsense character. The 84-year-old boss of Formula 1 had faced a number of challenges in his near 40 years of control of the worlds most prestigious motorsport. As you would imagine, the multi-millionaire is quite the car fanatic and has recently been spotted on the streets of London in a Ferrari F12 Berlinetta with private registrations plate resembling that of his surname.
The Rosso Corsa car was seen in Knightsbridge where dozens of supercars can be found. It is known that Bernie’s daughter Tamara, who drives a Lamborghini Aventador, lives in the trendy area.
From the factory, the F12 is powered by a 731 horsepower 6.2-liter V12 mated to a seven-speed dual clutch transmission sending power to the rear wheels. This combination is enough to proper the 2-seat GT from 0-100 km/h in 3.1 seconds and on to a limited top speed of 337 km/h.
