Spy shots have just emerged of the Porsche Cayman GT4 in the midst of testing and wearing absolutely no camouflage.
From a visual standpoint, the Cayman GT4 pictured features a plethora of aerodynamic changes compared to existing Cayman variants. With that in mind, enlarged air intakes can be found at the front end alongside an extended splitter and a revised mesh grille design.
Additionally, a new set of wheels can be found on this particular tester not previously seen on other Porsche Cayman GT4 prototypes. Completing the changes are a small ducktail lip spoiler as well as a towering rear wing.
Beneath the skin, reports claim that the Porsche Cayman GT4 will use the company’s 3.8-litre twin-turbocharged boxer six engine. It will reportedly be tuned into the region of 450 hp and will therefore comfortably sit above the current range-topping Cayman GTS.
Beyond featuring a more powerful engine, the Cayman GT4 will make use of a stripped-down interior to help save on weight.
