Lexus NX by Wald International Previewed

Lexus NX by Wald International

The Lexus NX certainly features one of the boldest designs not just in the SUV market but in the entire automotive industry. Obviously not entirely satisfied with the looks of the standard car, famed tuner Wald International has commenced work on its NX styling package.

While details about the kit haven’t yet been released, it clearly consists of an extended front spoiler alongside revised air intakes, flared wheel arches finished in a contrasting shade of black as well as a set of new alloy wheels.

The rear end will then be characterised with an aggressive trunk lip spoiler and a beefed up bumper.

As it stands, Lexus has confirmed that three different powertrains will be available. Most important is the brand new 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine found in the Lexus NX 200t and NX 200t F Sport as these models are the first turbocharged Lexus cars ever! The Lexus NX will be positioned below the RX and on top of the turbocharged engine, a naturally aspirated 2.0-liter four-cylinder will be available alongside a hybrid powertrain utilised by the NX 300h. In total, six different hybrid variants will be made available in the future.
