A prototype for a potential Lamborghini Aventador SV has been spied testing on an Italian highway. While the identity of the test mule is far from clear nor confirmed, it can be immediately differentiated from the existing Aventador and Aventador LP720-4 50th Anniversario models.
In a similar vein to the Lamborghini Murcielago LP670-4 SV as well as the Aventador 50th Anniversario, this Aventador prototype features a remodelled rear apron including a selection of aggressive lines and panels.
Additionally, a revised rear diffuser can be seen with large vertical slats. Finally, this interesting Aventador SV test mule doesn’t feature the single large, centrally-exiting exhaust of the regular Aventador and instead features four single exhaust pipes.
Of course, talk about a Lamborghini Aventador SV is far from new with reported testers spied on the Nurburgring over 18 months ago. As a result, there’s a potential that this prototype is in fact for a facelifted Aventador in a similar vein to the Murcielago LP640 before an SV is created to bring the car’s production run to an end in 4-5 years.
