Lexus is apparently developing a convertible variant of the potent Lexus RC F sports car to rival the BMW M4 Convertible. While it remains to be seen just when an RC F Convertible could launch, X-Tomi Design has decided to imagine how the RC F would look as a Shooting Brake.

Considering that no Shooting Brake variants of the BMW M4, Mercedes-AMG C63 of Audi RS5 are offered, it seems unlikely Lexus would venture down this path. Nevertheless, the car imagined here looks absolutely incredible with bulging rear wheel arches and the slimline rear window suiting the design of the RC F to a tee.

As a reminder, the existing Lexus RC F Coupe gets its roar from more than 450 horsepower and more than 383 pound-feet of torque all courtesy of an all-new 5.0-liter 32-valve V8 engine that will provide increased maximum power at higher engine rpm than previously possible. This engine is the most powerful V8 engine the Japanese marque has ever constructed. Lexus say that the car should weigh in at under 1,800 kilograms. The RC F will be limited to a top speed of 270 km/h.
