Official: 2015 Toyota GT86

Ever since the Toyota GT86 launched back in 2012, it has been met with universal praise for the driver enjoyment it provides and its entry-level price point. Now the 2015 model year is in full force and consequently, Toyota has unveiled the 2015 GT86 complete with a selection of upgrades.

In the United Kingdom, the 2015 Toyota GT86 now costs more than 2000 pounds less than it once did with pricing starting at 22,995 pounds. What’s more, an introductory offer is currently available which slashes a further 500 pounds from the price.

Updates to the 2015 Toyota GT86 include the adoption of a BMW style sharkfin antenna on the roof as well as a carbon fibre look-a-like dashboard and tyre pressure warning system. For the U.K. market, the entire GT86 range has also been changed.

At the bottom of the pack is the GT86 Primo which comes standard with 17-inch wheels, a limited-slip differential, aluminium sports pedals, air conditioning and front fog lamps. It is available exclusively with a six-speed manual transmission. Next is the classic GT86 variant with it also adopting a rear spoiler, keyless entry, push-button start, cruise control, dual-zone climate control, dusk-sensing HID headlights, LED daytime running lights and the option of an automatic transmission.

Elsewhere there is the 2015 Toyota GT86 Aero. It includes a striking body kit, a larger front spoiler as well as revised front and rear bumpers and different side skirts. Additionally, 18-inch OZ Ultraleggera wheels finished in anthracite grey come standard. Completing the range is the special edition GT86 Giallo. It includes black leather seats, a black GT86 side decal, gloss black wing mirrors and a bright yellow paint scheme. Just 86 examples will be made available for U.K.
