Mercedes-Benz has confirmed that it will boost the U.S. allocation of the popular CLA following the unexpected raging popularity of the entry-level Mercedes-Benz sedan.

The news was confirmed by chief executive of Daimler, Dieter Zetsche during a press event in Alabama.

The decision to boost the U.S. allocation of the car comes after dealership supplies of the CLA were reduced to less than 10 days because of the popularity of the model.
