Pristine 1997 Ferrari F50 Heading to Silverstone Auctions

A pristine 1997 Ferrari F50 is set to go under the hammer at Silverstone Auctions Salon Prive Sale on September 4th and is expected to sell for between 600,000 and 750,000 euros!

This particular example was original delivered to Germany and despite its age, the car has travelled just 6300 miles and is consequently being sold in ‘as new’ condition. The original Rosso Corsa paintwork as well as the black hide and red cloth throughout the interior, are completely original and in stunning condition for a near 20-year old car.

In case you didn’t know, just 349 examples of the F50 were made making it significantly rarer than the Ferrari F40. It features a 4.7-litre naturally aspirated V12 engine developed from a 1992 Formula One engine. In road-going specification, this engine delivered 513 hp at 8000 rpm and 470 Nm of torque at 6500 rpm!
