The 2015 Ford Mustang SVT GT350 has been spied testing on numerous occasions recently and now it has emerged that the potent muscle car will debut at the Circuit of the Americas on September 19 during the Continental Tire SportsCar Challenge.
While Ford has yet to comment on that date, at a recent race meet at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway, race broadcasters revealed that the hardcore Mustang variation should be seen on the track in late September!
Visually, this special 2015 Ford Mustang will feature a revised and more aggressive front bumper and splitter, new wheels as well as what could be Recaro sports seats. Also, there will be large quad-exhaust pipes, a new rear diffuser and carbon ceramic brakes.
While the engine will in fact be borrowed from the current range-topping GT, the GT350 SVT will deliver significantly more power than the 435 hp and 400 lb-ft of torque of the GT.
