Lotus Elise 111R Photoshoot

EPC 2389 X2

The Lotus Elise is a car that started life in the mid nineties and has been around ever since, a successful combination of decent power and lightness has made it a great car for enthusiasts that love lightweight racing. The 111R version has got a 189 horsepower engine sourced from Toyota, ABS brakes, air conditioning and electric operated windows; though it is possible to order some more options such as metallic paint, Blaupunkt stereo, or leather seats to name a few.

The car shown is painted in ardent red with the standard set of rims painted black matching some other details on the car; it can put down a time from 0 to 100 km/h of 4.9 seconds and go up to its top speed of 240 km/. Being a four cylinder lightweight car, those times can’t truly tell all the fun it’s possible to have on such a nimble machine that has recorded a Brands Hatch lap time of just a bit over 57 seconds.
