At the upcoming New York Auto Show 2014, Land Rover is set to reveal the Discovery Vision Concept which has been teased through the image above.
Designed to showcase Land Rover’s design vision for a new family of Discovery vehicles, the Land Rover Discovery Vision Concept car appears to be quite small based on the outline visible on the central dashboard display. It also features prominent C-pillars and what looks like a very low roofline similar to the Range Rover Evoque’s.
While discussing the upcoming concept, design director and chief creative officer for Land Rover Gerry McGovern said, “Discovery has been pivotal in helping to build the foundations of the Land Rover brand. It is admired all over the world and loved by its strong customer base. We have created the Vision Concept to share the essence of Land Rover’s new age of Discovery and to debut a new, compelling, relevant design direction that connects on an emotional level with customers of today and tomorrow.”
