The Brabus 800 iBusiness will make its world debut at the Geneva Motor Show 2014 next week. The Brabus 800 iBusiness is based upon the Mercedes-Benz G 65 AMG and, as a result, features the Mercedes-Benz V12 powerplant! To match the inevitable increased performance, the car gets the Brabus Widestar bodykit and a set of 23 inch rims!

Brabus iBusiness cars focus on a special blend of technology raw power. The Brabus 800 iBusiness is therefore no different! Owners will enjoy multimedia content such as music, movies or games using an iPad mini, Mac mini, iPod touch and Apple TV on the move. The car comes fitted with its own Mac Mini computer with Apple TV and a power amp to provide enough power. These components are hidden at the rear of the vehicle.

Inside, the car gets two individual rear seats rather than the Mercedes-Benz bench seat. A tailor-made Brabus center console sits between the two rear seats. The upper section features a refrigerator for refreshments, the main part of the console houses numerous components of the “iBusiness” multimedia concept.

The iBusiness gubbins include a folding and swiveling table for each rear seat, but also docking stations with built-in chargers for the iPad mini and the iPod touch, as well as space for the concealed storage of keyboard and mouse plus USB ports for connecting to the Mac mini. A 15.6-inch LCD monitor is integrated into the leather and alcantara headliner. It serves as the main screen for the entire multimedia system, and can be deployed and retracted via the Brabus Remote app. A connection to the internet is established via a high-speed modem and a WLAN.

A DVD changer of the standard COMAND system is also integrated into the multimedia options. The high-end sound system is tailored to the Brabus 800 iBusiness interior and the addition of the iPod can store more than 14,000 titles.

Of course Brabus can offer interiors in any colour. The car that will be displayed at the Geneva Motor Show 2014 gets a black all-leather interior with a quilted leather floor together with red contrasting stitching. Wood inlays also feature prominently. Stainless-steel scuff plates with backlit Brabus logos finish the look.

The 6.0-liter V12 Biturbo engine gets the Brabus 800 treatment. Brabus fit high-tech twin turbochargers together with new exhaust manifolds which include integrated turbo housings. The Brabus 800 iBusiness gets four water-to-air intercoolers located beneath the carbon-fiber Brabus hood. Two air filter boxes positioned in the front fenders ensure an optimized supply of breathing air for the engine.

The exhaust is a proprietary Brabus stainless-steel exhaust system with free-flow metal catalysts and sound management via a controlled butterfly valve. Two dual tailpipes are fitted to either side of the car with two noise options, a discreet and loud option activated via a button on the steering wheel. Special engine mapping is also included as part of the package. Ironically, the entire package is Euro V emissions compliant!

The BRABUS 800 iBusiness produces 800 hp of power at as low as 5,500 rpm and an even more impressive peak torque of 1,420 Nm on tap already from 2,100 rpm (although Brabus limit this to1,100 Nm). The car sprints from 0-100 km/h in just 4.2 seconds and on to an electronically limited 250 km/h top speed. It comes fitted with a seven-speed automatic transmission and permanent all wheel drive.

The Widestar widebody includes powerful fender flares, a Brabus front spoiler, LED daytime running lights on the left and right-hand side and an illuminated Brabus logo on either side. Brabus have fitted this car with its own Xenon headlights and a new radiator grille. There is also a Brabus rear bumper, two LED backup and fog lights and a roof spoiler with integrated LED brake light.

Brabus fit a new Ride Control suspension system in conjunction with Bilstein. An aluminum button in the center console allows drivers to choose manually between two setups for the electronically adjustable shock absorbers: comfort and sport. Automatic damper adjustment is also fitted.
