Official: 2015 BMW X5 M Performance Parts

The M Performance Parts line offered by BMW allows customers of non-M powered BMWs to individualise their cars with minor performance upgrades along with visual changes inside and outside. With the recently released third-generation 2014 BMW X5, the German automaker has now released the M Performance Parts for the new premium SUV.

Under the hood, the M Performance Parts line can be optioned to include the Power Kit which helps to sharpen throttle response while also boosting power slightly. When it is all said and done, a BMW X5 xDrive35i when equipped with this Power Kit manages to deliver an impressive 320 hp and 332 lb-ft of torque. To put that power into perspective, it is an impressive 20 hp and 32 lb-ft of torque more than the standard X5 xDrive35i.

In addition to the increase power, the Power Kit also includes an optional exhaust system with chrome tips. Additional braking power can then come courtesy of the M Performance Brake Kit adding six-piston calipers at all four corners along with larger brake discs.

From a visual standpoint, the M Performance Parts line for the new BMW X5 includes a host of new carbon fiber parts including a lightweight front splitter, mirror caps, rear diffuser along with gloss black kidney grilles and M Performance rocket panel decals being available. Double-spoke 21-inch wheels help to complete the more aggressive design.
