The 2014 Mercedes-Benz C-Class was only recently revealed and now the very first images and details about the AMG Line spec C-Class have leaked online. While this optional trim level is still quite some way away from how the upcoming C63 AMG will look, it certainly adds a little bit more aggression to the standard C-Class.
Jumping right into the visual changes, the new C-Class AMG Line equipped car features a more aggressive front bumper incorporating a dramatic chrome front splitter. Additionally, it features larger dual air intakes and a few other nips and tucks here and there.
From the side, the new Mercedes-Benz C-Class AMG Line features reshaped side skirts and aluminium window surrounds. Also, this car can be seen sporting a new set of AMG 18-inch sport alloy wheels. Finally at the rear, the new C-Class AMG Line sees the addition of a more in-your-face rear bumper with a color matched rear diffuser.
In addition to these visual changes, the new C-Class AMG Line is said to receive new drilled front brake discs, uprated calipers as well as a new sports suspension setup. This new suspension setup won’t just improve handling, but sees the ride height dropping by 15 mm giving the car a little bit more aggression.
The AMG Line for the new C-Class is expected to debut at the Detroit Motor Show in just a couple of weeks’ time.
