Official: 2014 Mercedes-Benz S-Class by Lorinser

At the awesome Essen Motor Show 2013, the 2014 Mercedes-Benz S500 by Lorinser debuted. Now the official press details and pictures of the vehicle have been released and to our surprise, it is a little bit more comprehensive than having a new bodykit fitted.

Lorinser also got to work with the engine and managed to bump up horsepower from the regular Mercedes-Benz S500’s 4.6-liter V8. In standard specification, that powertrain delivers a total of 455 hp. However, the 2014 Mercedes-Benz S500 by Lorinser sees that rise by 75 hp up to 530 hp and 590 lb-ft of torque. Consequently, the Mercedes-Benz S500 by Lorinser can sprint to 96 km/h in a mere 4.8 seconds and an electronically limited top speed of 155 mph.

From a visual standpoint, the 2014 Mercedes-Benz S500 by Lorinser features a brand new bodykit incorporating new front and rear fascias. More specifically, the front features a brand new bumper, redesigned air intakes, splitter and a unique grille and badge. From the rear, the car is rolling on a new set of wheels which are joined with new side skirts.
