Thanks to the 110 db noise limit Curbstone Track Events had a rather special line-up with several professional teams racing in the popular English sports car, Radical.
Probably the most famous of the Radicals is the Radical SR8 LM, known for its record time at the Nürburgring Nordschleife. Not surprisingly this light-weight machine is also very fast around Spa Francorchamps. The Radicals all have an extremely good power-to-weight ratio which is so low that the sprint from 0 to 62 mph is done in around 3 seconds. Some of the even more track-specked edition do that sprint in a time easily under the 3 seconds barrier. And thanks to the low weight and monstrous grip these little cars go like hell.
