Video: 1800hp Lamborghini Gallardo LP570-4 Losses Rear Bumper at Unlim 500+

Lamborghini Gallardos, like many supercars, can be fragile. The original generation Gallardo had a bad reputation of spontaneously combusting but thankfully, the second-gen has proven to be more reliable. However, when one decides to upgrade their Lamborghini Gallardo LP570-4 Superleggera to a twin-turbocharged, 1800hp monster, you can bet some things will go wrong.

During the recent UNLIM 500+ drag races in Russia, an owner of a stunning black LP570-4 with 1800hp had a bad day when the rear bumper of the Italian supercar was ripped off at almost 300km/h! The incident happens during the first race in the following video as the driver pins it towards the finish line. The rear bumper can be seen flapping towards the end of the run before completely flying off.

However, the owner didn’t let that disrupt their drag racing schedule, as the car went onto participate in another race. Unfortunately, that too was scarred with problems because in the final race, the fire truck was called to put out a fire in the engine bay!

All in all, not a great day for this insane 1800hp Lamborghini Gallardo LP570-4 Superleggera!
