Last Sunday a thunderstorm in Phoenix, Arizona caused several short floods. The severe rain accompanying the thunderstorm caused a flash flood that swept an unlucky Corvette owner with his Corvette C6 of the road and dragged him down several dozen meters away from the road. The Corvette finally came to a rest on a tree.

Luckily the 70-year old owner survived the incident unhurt, the Corvette was a bit less lucky and suffered severe water- and damage from the slide. In the worst case its a complete write-off but in this case the owner is probably grateful that he walked away!
