When we talk of luxury in cars, the notion always points to the interior of the car, and that’s not wrong at all as even the best luxury car manufacturers count largely on the interior offerings to showcase their specialty in luxury. In that regard, United Kingdom based luxury tailors and car specialists – Carisma Auto Design have revealed a luxury interior conversion tailor-made for the Land Rover Defender.

As you can see from the gallery, this doesn’t look like your average Land Rover Defender. Instead, it adds a modern hi-tech luxury interior mated with the latest that technology can offer. In fact, they completely redesigned the entire interior. Dubbed the Carisma Defender D1, its interior was treated to a white Connolly hide with subtle black piping to the seats and black carpet to match.

The cabin hosts included two medium sized foldaway tables, a drinks cabinet with lead crystal glassware, a small refrigerator, dimmable mood lighting and a complete on board mobile PC system running Windows 8 software- yes we know, not the best operating system out there, but this could always be changed.

The ceiling and side panels were also treated to the same hide alongside the front cabin, steering wheel and dashboard. One could also get a shotgun cabinet and a cupboard for boots and other cross country peripherals.
