BMW Frozen Limited editions are not new to us, they have been making these editions with very few numbers going to the UK and fewer numbers going to the US. Bottom line, these editions are not just limited, they come packed with better interior packages not to mention the exclusive painted exteriors.
Wheels manufacturer Strasse Forged Wheels has revealed one to us which is the 2013 Frozen Silver Performance Edition BMW M3. It’s one of the only 40 that were ever made and they retailed for $81,060. Basically, and just like any other special packages offered by car manufacturers, the major changes were only the exterior as the name suggests. Last time we saw the M3 receive a serious treatment over its ordinary members was with the E46 M3 CSL-now that, was quite a build!
However, this did not stop Strasse Forged from doing what they specialize in, they threw in their SM7 Deep Concave wheels in sizes of 20×9 inches in the front axle and 20×11 inches in the rear axle. The wheels come with matte black centres, titanium brushed lips and race prep weight reduction chambers.
The exterior as you see is the Frozen Silver metallic paint. Other than that, it comes with dark chrome exhaust, side gills and kidney surrounds, and Jet Black bonnet intakes that set the car apart. A high-gloss Shadowline exterior trim completes the exterior look. It has BMW’s 420hp V8 engine with power transferred to the road via the standard seven-speed M DCT transmission and variable M differential.
