For Sale: Unique 2009 Maserati Quattroporte Shooting Brake

A unique Maserati Quattroporte Shooting Brake designed by firm Touring Superleggera is set to go under the hammer at an auction on May 25th.

The car is dubbed the Touring Bellagio Fastback by Touring Superleggera and is expected to fetch around 80,000 pounds when it hits the auction block.

The Touring Bellagio Fastback by Touring Superleggera was originally built for ex-Ducati president Carlo Bonomi and is one of just four to have ever been created.

The car was first revealed at the Villa d’Este Concorso d’Eleganza in 2008 and was painstakingly constructed to create one of the best shooting brakes of the modern era.

Since being first revealed, this Touring Bellagio Fastback by Touring Superleggera has been updated with the 2010 Maserati Quattroporte taillights as well as 19-inch forged Borrani Bimetal wheels and is finished in an elegant shade of metallic forest green.

Powering the Touring Bellagio Fastback by Touring Superleggera is a 4.2-liter V8 engine producing an impressive 395. This engine is then mated to a six-speed automatic transmission driving the rear wheels. From a handling and braking perspective, the car then features four-wheel independent suspension with coil springs, double wishbones and anti-roll bars as well as a set of hydraulic disc brakes.
