Ferrari California Crash

This week alone has had more than enough accidents; the latest one involves a Ferrari California which crashed in the town of Kladno Braškov, Czech Republic. The Ferrari belonged to Czech professional ice hockey right winger Jakub Voráček. He is currently playing for the Philadelphia Flyers of the National Hockey League (NHL).

The sportsman aged 23 was driving the car at the time of his crash and according to Sports.az which is our source; he crashed while avoiding a head on collision with an oncoming truck. Instead, he crashed onto a Mercedes before veering off the road and ramming into poles. He was descent enough to pay all the damages which amounted to 3,052,000 Crowns or an equivalent of $150,708.

The report also says that all drivers were sober during the incident. Jakub has had a successful careeer in Ice Hockey. He joined the Canadian Hockey League in 2006 before making his first NHL career goal against the Dallas Stars in 2008, and was named NHL First Star of the Week on February 20 this year.
