2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray Order Guide Leaks Online

After first taking the wraps off the 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray at the Geneva Motor Show 2013, Chevrolet has finally announced U.S pricing details for the car.

Kicking off the updated line-up is the base coupe model which starts at an impressively low $51,995, with its 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray Convertible brother costing a few thousand more at $56,995.

Both of these entry-level models feature the same LT1 6.2-liter V8 engine producing 450hp and driving the rear wheels through either a 7 speed manual or an optional automatic transmission.

Such pricing means that the 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray is set to be one of the most affordable supercars on the market with it actually being slighter cheaper than the base-model, 275hp Porsche Cayman!

On top of the selection of optional extras Chevrolet offers for the brand new Corvette, it can also be optioned with the Z51 Performance Package like the one which debuted at the Geneva Motor Show 2013.

This package includes an upgraded interior package, sports seats, exposed carbon fiber roof panel, dual-mode exhaust system, carbon fiber interior trim, red-painted brake calipers and a set of black-painted wheels as well as a selection of other updates.

All in all, the top-of-the-range 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray costs just $73,360 but this will inevitably be passed when further variants are released in the coming years.
